The PG interdisciplinary conference was conducted by the Dept. of Social Work and Sociology. The participating departments were Economics and Psychology from the Deanery of Humanities and Social Sciences and International relations from the Deanery of Law. There were parallel sessions on various themes such as Human wellbeing, health and health care, conflict management and corporate social responsibility, human resource management, inclusive development, labour, livelihood, migration and sustainable development, vulnerable groups and social development, environment and climate change. A total of 21 students from the department of economics participated in the conference across various sessions. The programme facilitated deliberations on the theses work of the final year students and gave them confidence to defend their work. Students of MA Applied Economics are mandatorily required to present their papers at conferences before submission of their thesis. This conference provided an opportunity for the same.
